Rumored to be the only Thanksgiving Day Parade west of the Mississippi, local businesses, civic groups, and community members suit-up, rev-up and mosey-up for the best Thanksgiving Day holiday morning in beautiful Fountain Hills, Arizona. From costumes, themed outfits and uniforms to funny cars, goofy floats and a few of local politicians, the annual Fountain Hills Thanksgiving Day Parade is a smorgasbord of local hometown fun.

The Grand Marshal this year comes at a perfect time, riding the energy from the summer Olympics in Rio de Janiero. Dorman, along with his diving partner Michael Hixon won the silver medal. He is an Arizona born athlete, and grew up right here in the Valley, but called Tempe “home”.
