#FountainHillsFriday: Fountain Bike Fest

The FH Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our newest signature event, the Fountain Bike Fest!

Taking place April 8 and 9 of 2017, the Fountain Bike Fest (FBF) will be a two day event featuring fun for the whole family! A 35 mile and 50 mile mountain bike race through Fountain Hills up into McDowell Mountain Park will kick off Saturday’s festivities. After that, spectators will be able to enjoy delicious food, a full expo, beer garden, live entertainment, and fun activities for children and families. Even if you are not into biking, the FBF will be fun for everyone!

Sunday will feature a “Road Ride” challenge for cyclists. Participants in this event will follow a 10 mile loop through Fountain Hills. For each lap they ride, money will go towards charity (later to be determined by AAA Credit Guide). Just like Saturday, all of the “after race” events will continue all day. Make sure to stop by for the great food, music, beer and more.

The official FBF website was launched this week. Registration for all events are now open for participants to sign up. You can check out the entire Fountain Bike Fest website HERE.

This event is hoping to draw thousands of spectators from not only Fountain Hills, but areas all over the Valley and Arizona. The FH Chamber believes these visitors will bring business and exposure to the wonderful professional community here in town and put Fountain Hills on the map as a great place to live and work.

This event will not be made possible without the support from the community and local sponsors. If you or your business are interested in becoming an event sponsor, you can learn more HERE. No matter what your budget is, there is a level of sponsorship for everyone!

We hope that Fountain Hills is excited for the Fountain Bike Fest as we are. We invite everyone to share the new FBF website and event information with anyone they know who would be interested in any of the races, or just wants to hang out and have a great time!

Remember to use the hashtag #FountainHillsFriday to let us know about all of the other exciting things going on in Fountain Hills. You never know, you might just get featured in next week’s post!
