Fountain Hills and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation are home to the highest concentration of world-class golf in all of Arizona. There are five public 18-hole courses and one private country club, and all of them feature the most amazing vistas you can find anywhere.
Desert Canyon Golf Club
This scenic 6,415-yard, par-71 championship course is known for its narrow fairways and canyons. Signature hole #7 was voted one of Arizona’s best. Fountain Hills’ oldest course, Desert Canyon hosts a variety of tournaments.
The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain
Located just a chip shot away from Scottsdale, Arizona, The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain provides golfers with a stunning desert golf experience highlighted by scenic vistas, dramatic elevation changes and award-winning course layout. The Scott Miller-designed, 18-hole course (par-71 and 6,800 yards from the back tees) incorporates the property’s natural box canyons and native Sonoran Desert into the design of the golf course. Since opening in 1996, The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain has earned numerous awards and accolades including “Best New Public Golf Course” by the Arizona Republic in 1996 and “Best of Phoenix Public Golf Courses” in 2006 by the Phoenix New Times. The Golf Club at Eagle Mountain is professionally managed by OB Sports Golf Management.
SunRidge Canyon Golf Club

Opened in 1995, SunRidge Canyon is a 6,823-yard, par-71 Keith Foster designed course. Selected No. 42 on Golf Magazine’s list of “Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S.” The course was chosen by Arizona tournament players as the top-ranked daily-fee golf club and was the site of the 1997 USGA State Team Championship.
We-Ko-Pa Golf Club

This 7,225-yard, par-72 course was featured in the April 2004 Wall Street Journal as one of 12 global courses that is beyond the reach of civilization. We-Ko-Pa is the Yavapai pronunciation for “Four Peaks Mountain.” The course features a 21,000-square-foot clubhouse and dramatic scenic views. The Club’s second 18, the ‘Saguaro’ course opened Winter 2006/2007.
