
The Valley Tourism Ambassadors Program promotes tourism by inspiring our front-line hospitality employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience. When a visitor receives quality service, they are more likely to have a fun, enjoyable stay and, in turn, share their experience with friends and return to the Valley in the future. Everyone benefits: the visitor, the hospitality industry, the local economy and most importantly, the front-line worker.
The newly-developed CTA (Certified Tourism AmbassadorTM) designation is designed to give front-line -- employees or volunteers -- critical training that helps them build upon their knowledge of the region and their performance as an ambassador. It explains their role in increasing tourism and helps them answer the wide variety of questions they receive from visitors.
