The Fountain Hills Chamber members recently participated in a survey about the Town’s recent revenue dialog.

The results will probably surprise you.

65% would like the Town Council to approve another tax election

60% agree the Town should sell or lease property for cell towers

40% suggest a implementing a public safety/maintenance and infrastructure fee

At the bottom of the list is the controversial public safety fee with only 24% of members in support.

The property tax initiative failed in the spring of 2018 and yet the Chamber’s survey indicates an appetite for considering this method again. It was previously defeated by about 70%.

The April 18 special Town Council meeting is available below to learn more about the Council’s specific concerns.
