(Fountain Hills, Ariz.) – The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce finalized the purchase of its adjacent lot, chose an architect and a contractor to re-energize the Chamber mission. According to Chamber CEO Scott Soldat-Valenzuela, the Chamber is making good on its promise to attract more businesses and create more excitement for current members with a proposed slate of new services.

This is one of the only Chambers of Commerce in the country offering broad business services as proposed by Soldat-Valenzuela.

These services include: co-working space, new marketing opportunities, educational resources, short/long term leasing and varied meeting spaces. This will add approximately 4,500 square feet of additional space to the Chamber facility.

The Board approved the $70,000 purchase for the lot, and have chosen architect Greg Zimmerman for the renovation. In addition, they agreed to retain Fountain Hills resident Dennis Brown of Echelon Builders, as the contractor for the project.

Soldat-Valenzuela and the Chamber Board of Directors have been working on this path for the past year, beginning with last June’s focus groups and online survey.

“We began the planning process by digging deep into the minds of business people to see what people want out of our Chamber,” he said.  “We are looking for a more vibrant, more engaged Chamber for area business people and the community.”

Soldat-Valenzuela, who assumed leadership four years ago, has brought the Chamber into the spotlight with a new outlook on business, a new logo and a new attitude for the fledgling community.

“It has been our vision that the Chamber become a central gathering spot for business people and their supporters,” he said. “We are now committing time, effort, and funds to see this through” he said.
