Fabulous Fountain Hills Hometown FireworksJuly 5, 2018 11:47 am
Fireworks, food trucks, bounce houses and more lined Fountain Park for a truly hometown event like no other.
From the array of food truck feasts, local restaurants like All American Sports Grill, Euro Pizza Cafe and Phil’s Filling Station, to the the bounce houses, kettle corn and rock climbing wall this was truly an event for all ages from Fountain Hills and beyond.
The Town of Fountain Hills assembled an excellent mix of features for residents and visitors to enjoy an amazing 4th of July celebration in Fountain Park.
Parking was easy, free and very close to the event. Walking from the parking lots across Saguaro was excellent as it was closed to cars. This made it very convenient for those of us with our hands full while also toting children.
The Chamber of Commerce supports using Fountain HIlls businesses first, but there are no local companies with their own food trucks. I appreciate, and so did my family, the Town had a wide variety of choices. Our kids wanted grilled cheese and chips.
When people visit our community it’s also important they have a memorable experience. Shorter wait times are an indication of good planning. Kudos to the Town staff for having grilled cheese, old fashioned sodas, burgers, sliders, Italian ice (by our local Fountain Hills Water & Ice), typical American food variety, burritos, quesadillas and more.
The display of fireworks lasted about 30 minutes. Just right for keeping little kids occupied while giving adults the feeling it was worth attending. Even the weather was warm but not too uncomfortable to sit outside and wait for the on-time 9pm fireworks show.
My compliments to the volunteers, sponsors and Town of Fountain Hills staff for executing a great local hometown event!Tags: fountain hills
