The hearings were centered on examining the cost of its implementation. “I hope these hearings will demonstrate to lawmakers and the public just how disruptive the impact of Prop. 206 will be, so that we can craft a solution to these unintended consequences that are estimated to cost the state and taxpayers tens of millions of dollars this year,” said Chairman Shooter. Trump Proposes 20% Tax on Mexican Imports
